Maximum badass macho guys here - it's Mitchum and the Duke, pairing up to vanquish evil. The latter sobers up the former so they can go up against a bunch of bad operators. James Caan is on hand as a naive, dandyish sort with a flair for knife throwing and zero skills with a gun. He latches onto the Duke and comes along for the ride and to add a dash of comic relief.
